The mission of Fair Haven Parks & Recreation is to enhance the quality of life for the members of our community through diverse, year-round leisure opportunities. The Fair Haven Parks and Recreation Department shall strive to develop and maintain quality parks and facilities, to preserve open/natural spaces, and to provide recreational programming intended to enhance the physical, social and emotional well-being of our residents. Our objective is to offer safe, fun, and memorable recreational experiences.

Parks & Recreation News
Please note the tennis courts at Fair Haven Fields are now closed they are while being resurfaced.
Please remember that the Fair Haven Recreation Commission normally meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7PM in Borough Hall. However, in June we will be meeting on June 8th at 7PM. The meetings are open to the public and residents are certainly welcome to attend.
Rec-N-Crew Summer Playground Camp
Registration packets are currently available for summer day camp. Camp is open to residents of Fair Haven entering grades 1 through 6. Camp features a variety of activities including games, sports, guest speakers, theme days, waterplay, day trips, and more!!!

Sounds at Sunset Concert Series
is underway after a great performance by both Maddie Mullin and the band of the Two Rivers. All performances will take place at the Fair Haven Dock. Admission is free. All Performances begin at 6:30 with an opening act. The main performers will begin at 7. This year’s line-up:
- June 5: River Road
- July 9th: Familiar Faces
- August 6th: The Wag Band
- July 23rd: Austin and the Apostles (make up date)
Drop in volleyball
will take place weeknights in the summer for teens and pre-teens at the Youth Center. Admission is free and games can be played until dark. Volleyballs will be provided. Registration is not required, simply show up and have fun.
Fair Haven Camp-out
will take place on Friday, July 30th. The event starts at 8 with a party led by DJ Dave McCann. Activities from 8-11 include the campfire, games, and s’mores for the kids. After 11, everyone will report to their tent for a night or peaceful serenity under the beautiful Fair Haven sky. Admission is free and camping will take place in designated sections of the park.
July 10th will be the first annual Fantasy Breakfast
Registration is mandatory and this promises to be a great event. The breakfast is open to children under age 7 and will take place at the Youth Center at 9 am. Your child will enjoy a breakfast with a cast of characters including Santa, the Easter Bunny, Frosty the Snowman, a police officer, a fireman and much more. The cost is $15 per person and includes a buffet breakfast.
Vision Soccer camp
WHERE: Fair Haven Fields, Fair Haven, NJ
WHEN: July 5-9 from 5:30-8:00 pm for Boys and Girls ages 6-17
The Vision Training Soccer Camp relies on positive reinforcement to help players learn new skills and improve fundamentals in an
environment that is challenging and fun. Learning to "See the field" is incorporated into each skill taught by the Vision Training staff.
REGISTRATION: $150, payable to: Vision Training Soccer Camps. This includes a free soccer ball & t-shirt. Registration deadline is July 1, 2010. Each
