Annual Notice
The Open Public Meetings Act (N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et. seq.) provides for the giving of the annual notice by public bodies of the time, date and location of the meetings of such public body to be held during the succeeding year; and
The “Annual Notices” have been posted on the official bulletin board in the Municipal Building, and filed in the office of the Borough Clerk of Fair Haven, all in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act.
Public Notice of Bids Requests
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Borough of Fair Haven. These bids will be opened and read in public at the Borough of Fair Haven, Administration Building, 748 River Road, Fair Haven, NJ 07704.
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
General Fire Equipment and Supplies
The Borough of Fair Haven, New Jersey shall receive sealed bids the Municipal Building, 748 River Road, Fair Haven, New Jersey until 11:00 AM prevailing time, Thursday , October 9, 2008, and then be publicly opened at the Municipal Building for the purchase of General Fire Equipment and Supplies. Copies of the specifications are on file and open for public inspection at the Municipal Clerk’s Office, Fair Haven, NJ.
Each proposal must be made upon the prescribed forms furnished by the Borough of Fair Haven and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder and must be addressed to the Borough Clerk’s Office, attention of Allyson Cinquegrana, at the place and hour mentioned above. Proposal must be endorsed: General Fire Equipment and Supplies.
The Borough of Fair Haven reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder(s). Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
PUBLIC NOTICE
2008 Road Program
The Borough of Fair Haven, New Jersey shall receive sealed bids the Municipal Building, 748 River Road, Fair Haven, New Jersey until 10:00 AM prevailing time, Wednesday, October 1, 2008, and then be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Conference Room of the Municipal Building Administration Office in connection with the 2008 Road Program.
The contractor shall undertake milling, roadway excavation and paving; installation of concrete ccurb, sidewalk, aprons, and curb ramps; and installation of drainage pipe and basins in accordance with the detailed specifications.
Copies of the specifications may be obtained between the hours of 8:30 am and 3:30 pm daily except Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays beginning on Monday, September 15, 2008 at the Municipal Building Clerk's Office, Fair Haven, NJ at a cost of $75 per set. No refunds will be made.
Each proposal must be made upon the prescribed forms furnished by the Borough of Fair Haven and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder and must be addressed to the Borough Engineer, Richard Gardella, P.E., P.P., C.M.E., at the place and hour mentioned above. The Borough of Fair Haven reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder(s).
A Business Registration Certificate must be supplied with the proposal. Failure to submit certificate requires mandatory rejection of a bid as a non-waivable defect. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Two (2) Ford Escape Hybrid Vehicles
The Borough of Fair Haven, New Jersey shall receive sealed bids the Municipal Building, 748 River Road, Fair Haven, New Jersey until 11:00 AM prevailing time, Thursday, September 25, 2008, and then be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Conference Room of the Municipal Building Administration Office for the furnishing of two (2) Ford Escape Hybrid Vehicles.
The contractor shall furnish and deliver to the Borough of Fair Haven two (2) new, unused 2009 Model Year or newer, Ford Escape Four Wheel Drive Hybrid Vehicles in accordance with the detailed specifications.
Copies of the specifications may be obtained between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm daily except Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays beginning on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at the Municipal Building Clerk's Office, Fair Haven, NJ.
