Fair Haven Fields Improvement Project Announcement

Dear Fair Haven Residents:

On behalf of the Mayor and Council, I am very pleased to announce that the Borough recently awarded a bid to Down To Earth Landscaping to improve certain areas around Fair Haven Fields, which serve as a buffer between the park and residential areas.

The project was designed to remove invasive species and dead trees, along with reforestation in those same areas.  Please click on the link below to view the plans for the project.

This project is being partially funded by a Monmouth County Open Space Grant in the amount of $30,000, along with matching funds in an equal amount from the Borough of Fair Haven.

We expect the work crews to begin mobilization during the week of August 26th, with the majority of the work taking place after Labor Day.  Fair Haven Fields will remain open and accessible throughout the project, but there may be some areas of the walking trails that will need to be temporarily closed.

As always, if you have any questions, or you need assistance with any Borough related matter, feel free to contact me via email: tcasagrande@fhboro.net or by calling the office at 732-747-0241 x *219.  Enjoy the rest of the summer!

Best regards,

Theresa Casagrande, Borough Administrator
