A Message from Mayor Lucarelli

I hope everyone had a healthy and safe Memorial Day Weekend.  Please go to the Borough’s website to view the wonderful Virtual Memorial Day Ceremony thanks to our Recreation Director DJ Breckenridge with production help by Tyler Breckenridge. Below are a few additional items I would like to share with our residents this week:

     · Tomorrow will be our last Thank You Thursday for our Frontliners.  The
        theme song will be “Dancing in the Dark” by Bruce Springsteen - & make
        some noise to show our appreciation!

· Thank you to Councilwoman Susan Sorensen and an amazing group of
   volunteers who made over 750 much needed masks that were distributed to
   several medical facilities in our area during the pandemic.

· At the Council Meeting I announced we will be forming 2 new Committees:

o Brush Site – to investigate alternatives solutions led by Councilmembers Chris Rodriguez and Betsy Koch

o Businesses Re-Opening - Helping businesses and restaurants by taking advantage of outdoor space to expand their footprint led by Councilmembers Susan Sorensen and Betsy Koch who will interface with the Fair Haven Business Association

Although our active Covid-19 numbers continue to diminish, as we re-enter society, please remain respectful of others and to be vigilant in keeping everyone safe, especially our most vulnerable – by continuing to follow social distancing guidelines.
