A Message from Mayor Lucarelli

A Message from Mayor Lucarelli

December 18, 2020

The Christmas Holiday is fast approaching.  On behalf of myself and Borough Council, I would like to wish everyone a very Merry and Safe Christmas.  It is not too late to patronize our local businesses to find that special gift for someone.

  • On December 13th, there was a Menorah Lighting and Tree Lighting Ceremony in Memorial Park.  Please check the Borough website to see the video documenting the event.
  • A quick reminder to cast your vote/judge the houses for the Borough’s Holiday House Decoration Contest.  Judging began on December 11th and continues until December 31st.  Look for the Parks and Recreation page on the Borough’s website for more information (under News and Announcements).
  • A gentle reminder that the Fair Haven Shop Local Scavenger Hunt sponsored by the Fair Haven Business Association and Fair Haven Parks and Recreation Department ends on Sunday, December 20th….get those entries in.

Continue to be vigilant in protecting yourselves and those around you by observing the appropriate mask etiquette, being sure that you are socially distanced and washing your hands/hand sanitizing often:

Please keep in mind that the Borough Offices, Library and DPW will be closing at 12 Noon on Thursday, December 24th and closed on Friday, December 25th in observance of the Christmas Holiday.

The Reorganization Meeting for Borough Council will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom.

Everyone enjoy your weekend!!

Be Safe, Be Well
