Message from Mayor Lucarelli - June 26, 2020

I hope everyone had a great week.   I have a few items I would like to update the residents of Fair Haven on for this week.

·        Covid – 19/Summer:   I am very proud of how NJ, and especially Fair Haven, adhered to the guidelines around Covid-19.  Our collective efforts have truly paid off, and while other states around the country are seeing spikes in Covid-19 cases, we appear to have flattened the curve positively.  I do want to remind our residents, while this is positive news, it is not time for complacency as we have now official entered Summer, and are becoming more and more socially open.  

·        Cars burglarized and stolen:

o   Please lock your car at all times

o   Do not leave the key fobs in the vehicle and remove all valuables

o   Report any suspicious vehicles or people to the Fair Haven PD ASAP – 732-747-0991 or 911

·        Shop Local – please remember to support our local businesses now that the many of the social distancing guidelines are being lifted

·        Recreation –

o   Camp – Rec n Crew – If you have a child 1st – 8th Grade and you are interested in FH’s Summer Camp, please go to the Recreation section on our Borough website and take the short survey provided.

o   Sports – Throughout July you will see more and more sports, camps, activities opening up.  Please remind your children to practice the Covid-19 guidelines to ensure everyone’s health and safety
