Office of Emergency Management

Dear Fair Haven Residents,

As of this date, we have six (6) active confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the Borough.  Over the past seventeen weeks we have had a combined total of 33 confirmed cases.  Unfortunately, this is a slight increase from last week’s cases. We would like to stress that this is a “Slight Increase”.  Additionally these new cases happen to be young adults which has been the case on a state wide level in recent weeks. Still, in all we maintain a considerably low number of cases which is very impressive.

We hope that everyone had a safe fourth of July weekend and we are also looking forward to our R.F.H. Seniors in person graduation ceremonies this week as well as other area high schools who are also celebrating their in person graduations.  With these events in mind we would like to remind our younger residents to please continue to exercise appropriate social distancing practices and to please adhere to all best safety guidelines.

The Police Department, and Office of Emergency Management will continue to monitor the evolving situation and will provide updates as they become available. We are confident that our number of cases here in Fair Haven will remain relatively low and we hope to see an easing of restrictions in the near future.  We hope that everyone will continue to stay safe and have a great summer.

Chief Joseph P. McGovern, Fair Haven Police Dept./OEM
