HYDRO-RAKING FOR MCCARTER POND

The McCarter Pond Hydro-raking Project has recommenced as of November 14th. 

This project is designed to improve the condition of McCarter Pond.  The goal of the project is to remove many years worth of accumulated vegetative waste, which will increase the amount of clear water and improve the oxygen levels in the pond.  

The project will be ongoing, depending on weather and other factors. 

In the interest of safety, we ask all residents to avoid in and around the area of the pond during both staging and construction. 
 

Reminder:
The project has the full support of the Fair Haven Environmental Commission and it is being funded through capital previously allocated in the Borough’s budget.
