IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT PUBLIC HEARING POSTPONEMENT MARCH 9, 2020

In consideration of this afternoon’s official announcement that there is presumptive positive case of coronavirus in a neighboring community, please be advised that Mayor Lucarelli’s first order of business on tonight’s agenda will be to call for a motion to carry the public hearing and adoption vote of Ordinance 2020-02, authorizing the purchase of 623 River Road, Fair Haven, to a future date.

The new public hearing and possible adoption date for this important ordinance will be advertised and posted on all Borough communication platforms. 

Tonight’s public meeting will go on as scheduled, so the Governing Body can act on the balance of Borough business listed on the agenda.  If you were only planning to come to tonight’s meeting to speak on the purchase of 623 River Road, please be assured that no action on this topic will be taken tonight and that you will have a chance to have your voice heard at a future meeting, when the threat of the coronavirus is no longer a concern.
