A Message from Mayor Lucarelli

A Message from Mayor Lucarelli

August 14, 2020

I hope everyone had a good week, now that all of Fair Haven has power restored.  I have a few items I would like to update the residents of Fair Haven with this week.

  • Power Outage
    • I would like to reassure the residents that we are committed to working on the post storm analysis to Improve our infrastructure in Fair Haven
    • Senator Declan O’Scanlon & Assemblywoman Serena DiMaso have been actively engaged
    • Our collective goal is to hold JCP&L to a higher standard of service to the residents of Fair Haven
  • Thank you
    • I would like to once again express great thanks to:
      • FH’s OEM – Chief McGovern for his exceptional leadership during the power outage along with the entire Fair Haven Police Department
      • FH’s First responders have been very busy answering calls
      • FH’s DPW who did an outstanding job clearing the streets during the outage, as well as continue to remove brush debris from our streets
      • FH’s Borough Staff and Council President Susan Sorensen who kept our residents informed during the outage

I would also like to bring your attention to the NEW JERSEY FAMILY article – it should come as no surprise that Fair Haven has been named #1 in “New Jersey’s “Best Towns for Families” in Monmouth County.   Please stay safe this week and Fair Haven, please continue to remain vigilant in following Covid guidelines, and as always, you can find additional information on the Borough’s website or feel free to email/call me directly.

Be Well and Be Safe,

Mayor Ben Lucarelli
