Dear Residents, 

I have a few updates from this week and I would like to share with all the residents as we enter Labor Day Weekend or otherwise known as the official end of Summer 2020:

  • Transition Day
    • A fantastic tradition of rising 4th Graders riding their bikes to Knollwood from Sickles
    • While it wasn’t on the normal day – it was wonderful to see so many families participating
    • A true success and tribute to this wonderful community
       
  • Bike Safety 
    • Now that school is beginning – please remember to perform safety checks on:
      • Bike:
        • Reflectors on the bikes
        • Tires inflated properlY
      • ​​​​​Helmet:
        • Double / Triple check helmets are properly fitted
        • Reinforce to your child to ALWAYS connect the chin strap
      • Discuss with your child and reinforce the rules of the road
         
  • Athletic Fields – Reinforcing Social Distancing Protocol
    • Social Distancing is required at all athletic events/organized sports at Borough Parks
    • Players/kids are behaving exceptionally
    • There will be new rules instituted regarding observers and please don’t be the parent that ruins it for all
       
  • Fair Haven Fire Company’s 50/50
    • Support our wonderful volunteer Fire Department by purchasing a Super 50/50 Ticket
      • How:
      • Cost
        • $20/each
        • Book of 5 for $100
      • Drawing will be on Veterans Day, November 11th at 6PM
