Message from Mayor Lucarelli - September 11, 2020
September 11, 2020
Due to the solemnity of this day, my message to Fair Haven this week, is one of reflection and remembrance.
On September 11, 2001, America and our surrounding communities changed forever. The attacks of that day, while tragic, brought out the best in all of us. The American spirit, Fair Haven’s spirit was not broken on that day, but was empowered.
I hope that our residents will pause today to remember loved ones, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and all the amazing first responders we lost that day, and reflect on how, on September 12th we came together as a community that will ALWAYS REMEMBER.
As we continue on with our lives today and in the future, please remember to hold each other a little tighter, laugh a little louder and love a little stronger – and to always remain kind to those around you.
