RIVER ROAD PROJECT UPDATE AS OF MARCH 25, 2022

UPDATE AS OF MARCH 25:

The map below outlines the work beginning Monday, March 28, 2022.

Fair Haven: There will be two construction zones working simultaneously with daytime work as follows:

From Monday to Friday, crews will begin service line replacements from BROWNS LANE and will head west to DOUGHTY LANE. There will be a temporary disruption of service as they reconnect services to the new main. This work will permit alternating traffic.

Beginning Wednesday, a second concrete removal and paving crew will begin at CHESTNUT STREET and head east to SMITH STREET. This work is anticipated to take eight days and will be completed by April 8.

Where possible, alternating traffic will be permitted; however, detours may become necessary.

All businesses will remain open during construction.
