    • The Governing Body consists of the Mayor and six Councilmembers, all of whom shall be elected at large in the Borough and take office in the manner provided by law. Their term of office shall commence January 1st next following their election. The Mayor and Councilmembers shall have the duties and responsibilities as provided by N.J.S.A. 40A:60-1 et seq., as may be amended, and other applicable provisions of law.
