Occupation:
Josh is an Experienced Sales Director who has spent over 20 years covering North America for a global distribution company specialized in packaging and paper products.

Additionally, as the Mayor of Fair Haven, he is an active member of the Police, Fire and Office of Emergency Management, Land Use, Finance, Engineering & Department of Public Works, Recreation, Outreach & Communications and Personnel committees and is a member of the NJ Conference of Mayors.  His responsibilities also include setting the agenda and presiding over monthly Council meetings.

Education:
Josh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from the University of Delaware and earned a Certification of International Hospitality at the School Hotel Passugg while studying abroad in Chur, Switzerland.

Personal: 
Before moving to Fair Haven in 2011, Josh lived in Manhattan, where he served on executive boards for various co-ops and apartment buildings with responsibility for reviewing financial statements and negotiating leases. As a registered 9/11 Rescue/Recovery Worker, Josh is proud to have supported the rescue and cleanup effort of the Twin Towers by helping to feed frontline emergency personnel in the aftermath of the attacks.

Josh is deeply committed to the Fair Haven community, sponsoring and hosting charitable events such as the Halpern Invitational Charity Ping Pong Tournament, co-hosted with his son Zach, with recent proceeds supporting the Fair Haven Community Appeal. For over a decade, he coached Fair Haven recreational and travel sports teams and has served as a referee and player in the Fair Haven Men’s Basketball League. A dedicated supporter of the annual Firemen’s Fair, Josh volunteers at the Hoop Shot, entertains on the microphone at the racing game, and helps prepare seafood for the Seafood Dining Room, where he enjoys dining.

Josh and his wife Nicole, a former elementary school teacher, are proud parents to Zach and Lily, RFH students in 12th and 10th grades, respectively.
