The Administrative Division is staffed by Chief Joseph McGovern and Captain Lambert..

The division is responsible for such tasks as records management, information technology, planning and research, internal affairs investigations, grant writing, department accreditation, and developing policies and procedures.

The Chief has overall responsibility of the division. He is responsible for areas such as budgeting, planning, training, and policy development. The primary responsibility of the division is to assist the Chief of Police in the day-to-day operations of the department. The Captain is in charge of the police department in the absence of the Chief of Police.

Operations Division
The Operations Division includes patrol, detective bureau, traffic safety, and department purchasing. It is staffed by a Chief who is the Division Commander. He is assisted by Captain Robert Townshend who is assigned to various duties to accomplish the agency's objectives. The mission of the Operations Division is to provide all necessary police and public safety services to the Borough of Fair Haven 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

To accomplish our mission we must use all available resources to be as efficient and effective as possible. Accordingly, we will continue to think outside the box to develop innovative techniques of providing the best possible service and protection to our residents and businesses.
